For 9″ blocks, you will need 3″ Triangle in a Square and 3″ Kite in a Square Ruler Sets. Or, you can choose to make this quilt with 12″ blocks which need 4″ Triangle in a Square and 4″ Kite in a Square. The techniques you can learn in this project will give the illusion of a Magic Mariner’s Compass with a lot less work.
