This is why I take time out of my busy schedule to go to Product Shows and Training:
1 - knowledge is power. The more you know, the more you can teach, the more you can become. When people ask how I know so much (don’t get me wrong, I DO NOT KNOW IT ALL!! … and will admit to everyone and anyone) . Anything I have learned has been by trial and error, research or listening to people more knowledgeable than me.
2- technology is ever changing and we must adapt and change with it our be left behind. These sessions give us the power to change, the knowledge to do it well.
3- I get time away. Away from the every day crazy of being a small business owner, a hockey mom, a wife, a friend and just be. It allows me to sing along to 90’s music on the drive, to spend me-time creating and planning and to allow me to recharge.
When I come back from training sessions is when I am the most creative and motivated.
