Husqvarna - Felting Embroidery Set

Instead of using threads, this set features a special needle that felts fibers together for a unique effect. Change up the look by experimenting with different fabrics and types of wool. Just remember, natural fibers like wool work best for this technique. Avoid smooth, synthetic fabrics as they won't give the same desired result. Test on a small piece of material before diving into your project. And don't forget, when using the felting needles, no threads are required. Simply hoop your fabric with the right side facing down. If you're working with a free-standing design or wool roving, make sure to use a water-soluble stabilizer. Get ready to have some fun with felted embroidery!

Main Features
Three designs are available for free download. Each design represents a felting technique, Free Standing, One-Layer and Multi-layer embroidery. These techniques are explained below.

Free Standing Embroidery

Hoop water soluble stabilizer.

Place wool roving on the hooped stabilizer.

Place another piece of water soluble stabilizer on top of the wool to keep it in place.

Embroider the design. Cut away excess roving and stabilizer. Dissolve in lukewarm water.

One-Layer Embroidery

Hoop the fabric to be embroidered with the right side down.

Embroider the design.

Multi-Layer Embroidery

Hoop the fabric to be embroidered with the right side down.

Place another piece of fabric (right side down) on top.

Embroider the design.

Cut away excess fabric or roving.
